I flew to Miami, I will share my impressions of this city.
Having Will Smith's Welcome to Miami in my ears, I conquered Miami's outskirts. However, as soon as I landed in the United States, the sunny mood vanished.
Me and the usual me set out to conquer America without a return ticket. However, I didn't do it because I wanted to stay. Instead... My preparation for this turn at the border wasn't as good as usual. I mentally gave up the dream of seeing this city after spending three hours in the airport cabin. They let me out after numerous questions about why I stay in America so often and for so long. I exhaled... As a result, I will probably buy tickets for all my travel routes in advance now.
I began my day in Miami with an unusual breakfast, which was a croissant and a delicious cup of coffee. I finally got to see the beach that I saw so often in movies and on the Internet by moving away from such a busy entrance.
Although I did not dare dive into the Atlantic Ocean, which is too cold for me, and I also did not want to hurt my new nose, I quickly realized that a beach holiday was not for me... My red shoulders reminded me that the sun is not for me either.
My lunch at Tropicall Pollo included a half chicken, ribs, rice, and a side of ribs, despite the overwhelming amount of meat on my plate. Since ''I am a vegetarian'', I ate all of the meat. Even now, when it is almost bedtime, I am still overwhelmed by the size of the portion.
I have finished my day... I feel empty now... Empty because I haven't filled myself with any new knowledge or something interesting to talk about. It's beautiful here, but not for me. Or maybe it just seems so to me... I have only been here for one day.
Tomorrow I will try to change my mood so that I can fully immerse myself in this city.
There is now a crib waiting for me, which is decorated with paintings of NYC. Again... Maybe it's just my mood, or maybe I really miss New York... Still, it's a sign, isn't it?
