3 sites to practice English with native speakers

Personal experience has shown that learning a language with native speakers boosts development quickly. It is common for students to put off this step until the future, which, in my opinion, is a bad idea. The key is to practice the language. Despite watching films and listening to podcasts in English continuously, I noticed that my progress also stalled when I stopped traveling.

It's great if you have foreign friends, just talk to them on the phone. You don't have to pay for those calls. In case your situation is different, I am glad to share with you three websites I personally use to practice English.

Preply

It's probably my favorite site. I studied both English and German here.

There is a large selection of both certified teachers as well as native speakers.

Since I just wanted to practice the language of communication, I selected only native speakers.

Prices start at $5 per hour. Yes!!

After the first lesson, you will need to buy a subscription for a certain number of classes. If the first teacher is not right for you, you can easily change teachers by transferring your funds to another one. The cost of classes will be determined by the teacher.

Cancellation and rescheduling - free of charge!

An easy-to-use platform that works instantly!

(you will receive a 70% discount on the first lesson if you use this link):

Italki

A well-designed site with the same scheme as the previous one.

There are also a variety of teachers from different levels and countries.

The price starts at $5. Further payment by subscription.

Here is the link (which will give you a 5$ discount):

Cambly

A third option for learning and practicing the language is Cambly! The platform is very user-friendly, and the prices are very reasonable.

If you're still intimidated about speaking with native speakers, you can start with a 15-minute lesson, which will not cause you such stress as an hour of communication in a foreign language.

It may seem intimidating, but remember that no teacher will condemn you if you don't understand what they say or don't know a certain word!

It is imperative to start, then it will become more enjoyable!

As you communicate more, you will gain a more comprehensive understanding of grammar.

I am no longer thinking about whether you should use the past tense or the perfect tense, since I remember the situations in which the person used either tense)

Have a good and fun practice everyone!
